The Queensbury Spartans edged the host Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils ice hockey squad by a count of 6-5 in Friday's non-league bout.

With the victory, Queensbury moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY) to confront the Shamrocks in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 18. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Plattsburgh for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27.
