Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) and the host Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE), saw Aurora's basketball squad hold off Northwest by a tally of 45-40.

With the victory, Aurora improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Norris (Firth, NE) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Norris won 78-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Seward (Seward, NE)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Broken Bow Indians (Broken Bow, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
