Nebraska High School Basketball - Aurora can't hold off Adams Central
January 25, 2024: Aurora, NE 68818 The Adams Central Patriots basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Aurora Huskies to 38 in the Patriots non-league victory on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Cecilia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Adams Central will battle a Bluehawks team coming off a 49-33 non-league loss to Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE). The Bluehawks record now stands at 9-6.
The Huskies (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE). The Stars come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Kearney Catholic edged Aquinas (David City, NE), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
