Vermont High School Basketball - St. Johnsbury Academy crushes Brattleboro
December 16, 2023: Brattleboro, VT 05301 St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT), 90-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Johnsbury Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Colchester (Colchester, VT) to play the Lakers in a Metro bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Lakers go into the game with a record of 2-0. Colchester won 65-42 in their recent non-league game against Milton (Milton, VT)
With the defeat, Brattleboro moves to 2-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT) to face the Patriots in a Southern Vermont - A game on Thursday, December 21. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 1-3. Mount Anthony lost 69-60 in their recent non-league game against Otter Valley (Brandon, VT)
