The Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks basketball team (Union City, OH), was overwhelmed 73-44 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Covington Buccs (Covington, OH)

The Buccs now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milton-Union for a Three Rivers battle on Tuesday, December 19. Covington will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-24 league loss to Miami East (Casstown, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.

The Blackhawks (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against National Trail (New Paris, OH). The Blazers come into the Western Ohio battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, National Trail was overwhelmed by Carlisle (Carlisle, OH), 59-47, in a non-league battle.
