The Eagle Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Preston Indians to 43 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timberline for a 5A Southern Idaho contest on Thursday, December 21. Eagle will battle a Wolves team coming off a 41-34 non-league win over Borah (Boise, ID). The Wolves record now stands at 5-0.

The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Logan (Logan, UT). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Logan ran past Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT), 54-51, in a non-league contest.
