The Preston Indians basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Pocatello Thunder to 51 in the Indians league victory on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Century for a 4A South East Idaho contest on Thursday, January 18. Preston will battle a Diamondbacks team coming off a 59-46 non-league loss to Highland (Pocatello, ID). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 4-9.

The Thunder (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Shelley (Shelley, ID). The Russets come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Shelley edged Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID), 65-36, in a league contest.
