Kentucky High School Basketball - Warren East nips Franklin-Simpson
December 16, 2023: Bowling Green, KY 42101 Warren East Raiders (Bowling Green, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY), 62-61 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Warren East upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Todd County Central (Elkton, KY) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Todd County Central won 67-64 in their recent non-league bout against Clinton County (Albany, KY)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Franklin-Simpson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 64-45 non-league loss to Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
