New York High School Basketball - Greece Athena crushes Pittsford
December 16, 2023: Pittsford, NY 14534 Greece Athena Trojans (Rochester, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pittsford Panthers (Pittsford, NY), 82-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Greece Athena upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Monroe (Rochester, NY) to play the Red Jackets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Red Jackets go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Monroe won 86-26 in their recent non-league bout against Early College (Yonkers, NY)
Next up, the Panthers play the Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Pittsford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 59-39 non-league loss to Vertus (Rochester, NY).
