The Wilcox Chargers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Homestead Mustangs to 35 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Chargers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aptos for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Wilcox will battle a Mariners team coming off a 58-35 non-league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 5-2.

The Mustangs (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cupertino (Cupertino, CA). The Pioneers come into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino contest with a 9-1 record.
