California High School Basketball - Homestead thwarts Santa Clara
January 16, 2024: Cupertino, CA 95014 The Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA), 53-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mustangs (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA). The Firebirds go into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Fremont notched a victory over Saratoga (Saratoga, CA), 46-38, in a league test.
The Bruins now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Monta Vista for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test on Tuesday, January 23.
