With the win, Homestead upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Cupertino (Cupertino, CA) to clash with the Pioneers in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Cupertino won 40-37 in their recent league bout against Saratoga (Saratoga, CA)
Next up, the Matadors clash with the Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Monta Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 53-43 league loss to Homestead (Cupertino, CA).
