December 16, 2023: Moro, OR 97039 The Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) basketball felled the visiting Ione/Arlington Cardinals (Ione, OR), 48-35 in Saturday's league test.
The Huskies (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Griswold (Helix, OR). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Griswold was beaten by Sherman (Moro, OR), 66-8, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Cove for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. Ione/Arlington will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 58-29 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, OR). The Leopards record now stands at 6-2.
