Iowa High School Basketball - Omaha Central over Lincoln

December 16, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51503

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) and the host Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA), saw Omaha Central's basketball squad overcome Lincoln by a tally of 74-65.

With the victory, Omaha Central improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Omaha North (Omaha, NE) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Omaha North won 62-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE)

Next up, the Lynx play the Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Stags come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 61-47 non-league loss to McPherson (McPherson, KS).
