North Carolina High School Basketball - New Hanover holds off Millbrook

December 16, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28401

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC), saw New Hanover's basketball squad hold off Millbrook by a tally of 64-61.

With the victory, New Hanover improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Clayton (Clayton, NC) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Millbrook will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
