December 16, 2023: Pasco, WA 99301 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA) and the host Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA), saw Walla Walla's basketball squad hold off Chiawana by a count of 53-50.
With the victory, Walla Walla upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Southridge (Kennewick, WA) to play the Suns in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Suns come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Southridge lost 71-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Kennewick (Kennewick, WA)
Next up, the Riverhawks play the Richland Bombers (Richland, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. Chiawana will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 63-38 non-league win over Hermiston (Hermiston, WA).
