California High School Basketball - La Costa Canyon overwhelms Poway
December 16, 2023: Carlsbad, CA 92009 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) and the visiting Poway Titans (Poway, CA), saw La Costa Canyon's basketball squad wallop Poway by a tally of 78-39.
With the victory, La Costa Canyon improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Rancho Bernardo won 57-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Westview (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Titans play the San Pasqual Golden Eagles (Escondido, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Poway will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).
