December 16, 2023: Hannibal, OH 43931 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the River Pilots (Hannibal, OH) and the visiting Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH), saw River's basketball squad wallop Buckeye Local by a tally of 60-30.
With the victory, River improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Pilots host Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH) to confront the Zeps in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Zeps come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Shenandoah lost 56-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Frye (Beverly, OH)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Toronto Red Knights (Toronto, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Buckeye Local will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Red Knights come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Edison (Richmond, OH).
