California High School Basketball - Costa Mesa overwhelmed by Corona

The Corona Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Costa Mesa Mustangs to 25 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moreno Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Corona will battle a Vikings team coming off a 90-50 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-3.

The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Loara (Anaheim, CA). The Saxons come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Loara triumphed over Fullerton (Fullerton, CA), 35-27, in a non-league contest.
