The Floyd Central Highlanders trounced the visiting Salem Lions basketball team by a tally of 57-17 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Highlanders now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Borden for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Floyd Central will battle a Braves team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Madison (Madison, IN). The Braves record now stands at 10-1.
