Alabama High School Basketball - James Clemens nips Pleasant Grove
December 16, 2023: Pleasant Grove, AL 35127 James Clemens Jets (Madison, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL), 45-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, James Clemens upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL) to play the Dolphins in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Dolphins come into the bout with a record of 14-2.
Next up, the Spartans play the Midfield Patriots (Midfield, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Pleasant Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, AL).
