New Jersey High School Basketball - Phillipsburg fells Mount Olive
December 16, 2023: Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ), 48-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Phillipsburg upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Stateliners host Mount St. Mary Academy (Watchung, NJ) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Marauders clash with the Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National bout, on Monday, December 18. Mount Olive will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 48-34 league loss to Sparta (Sparta, NJ).
