St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY), 59-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph Hill Academy upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Notre Dame Academy (Staten Island, NY) to play the Gators in a Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens II bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Notre Dame Academy won 51-23 in their recent league bout against St. Edmund Prep (Brooklyn, NY)
