December 16, 2023: West Hartford, CT 06117 The Northwest Catholic Lions ice hockey squad scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Darien Blue Wave to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Northwest Catholic moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT) to face the Eagles in a Central Connecticut - North contest on Wednesday, December 20. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 1-1. Wethersfield won 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT)
The Blue Wave now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fairfield Prep for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Darien will face a Jesuits squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Jesuits record now stands at 0-2.
