The Northwest Catholic Lions edged the host Xavier Falcons ice hockey squad by a count of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

With the victory, Northwest Catholic moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Darien (Darien, CT) to confront the Blue Wave in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Blue Wave go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Falcons now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host La Salle Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. Xavier will confront a Rams squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
