December 16, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23462 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA), saw Catholic's basketball squad wallop Cristo Rey by a count of 54-13.
With the victory, Catholic upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Indian River (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Indian River won 46-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)
Next up, the Royals play the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Cristo Rey will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 57-55 non-league loss to Collegiate (Richmond, VA).
