Virginia High School Basketball - Benedictine fells Catholic
February 3, 2024: Richmond, VA 23238 Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), 58-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Benedictine upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Cadets host Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA) to clash with the Tigers in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Ambassadors go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 70-25 non-league win over TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA).
