Tennessee High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant fells Hughes
December 16, 2024: Clifton, TN 38425 The Mt. Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Hughes Lions to 43 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin Classical School for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Knights team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Glencliff (Nashville, TN). The Knights record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Hughes falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Riverside (Decaturville, TN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 3-6. Riverside lost 66-49 in their recent non-league game against Camden Central (Camden, TN)
