Illinois High School Basketball - Argenta-Oreana overwhelms Blue Ridge
December 16, 2024: Farmer City, IL 61842 The Argenta-Oreana Bombers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Blue Ridge Knights to 17 in the Bombers league triumph on Monday.
The Bombers now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sangamon Valley/Tri-City for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Argenta-Oreana will confront a Storm team coming off a 42-37 league loss to Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Storm record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL) to confront the Blue Devils in a Lincoln Prairie game on Thursday, December 19. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 1-7. Villa Grove lost 72-24 in their recent non-league match against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL)
