The Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball toppled the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 43-32 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Lake Forest for a North Suburban bout on Friday, December 20.

With the loss, Cary-Grove falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Central (Burlington, IL) to play the Rockets in a Fox Valley bout on Wednesday, December 18. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Central won 42-27 in their recent league bout against McHenry (McHenry, IL)
