The Mother McAuley Mighty Macs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Cary-Grove Trojans to 39 in the Mighty Macs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mighty Macs now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Guilford for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Mother McAuley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Cary-Grove falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26.
