The Rogers Vikings basketball squad (Newport, RI), was outscored 52-41 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI)

With the victory, Cranston West advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Falcons travel to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI) to meet the Rams in a Division 1 battle on Friday, December 20. The Rams enter the battle with a record of 1-1. La Salle Academy won 61-22 in their recent league battle against Classical (Providence, RI)
