First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC), 65-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, First Flight advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Manteo (Manteo, NC) to meet the Redskins in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal match on Thursday, December 19. The Redskins enter the match with a record of 2-4. Manteo lost 36-31 in their recent non-league match against Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC)

The Warriors now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky Mount Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17.
