The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) and the visiting Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA), observed River Valley's basketball team overwhelm Greater Johnstown by a score of 71-47.

The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Wildcats come into the Heritage challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Homer-Center was routed by Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA), 68-19, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Wednesday, December 18.
