Maryland High School Basketball - Whitman overwhelms Kennedy
December 16, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20902 The Whitman Vikings basketball team scored 83 points and limited the host Kennedy Cavaliers to 29 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Georgetown Visitation Prep for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Whitman will confront a Cubs team coming off a 57-52 league loss to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Cubs record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Kennedy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-2. Gaithersburg lost 73-41 in their recent non-league game against Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD)
