The Whitman Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans to 36 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Seneca Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Whitman will confront a Screamin' Eagles team coming off a 88-41 non-league win over Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Screamin' Eagles record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Gaithersburg falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Poolesville (Poolesville, MD) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 5-5. Poolesville lost 62-48 in their recent non-league game against Churchill (Potomac, MD)
