February 18, 2025: Clarksburg, MD 21216 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) and the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), observed Clarksburg's basketball team knock off Gaithersburg by a score of 57-37.
The Coyotes (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Churchill dropped by Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD), 50-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Gaithersburg will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Barons come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 59-45 league win over Whitman (Bethesda, MD).
