Maryland High School Basketball - Gaithersburg toppled by Churchill
January 28, 2025: Potomac, MD 20854 Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), 45-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Churchill advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Damascus (Damascus, MD) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 9-4. Damascus won 42-30 in their recent non-league match against Wootton (Rockville, MD)
The Trojans now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherwood for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. Gaithersburg will face a Warriors squad coming off a 61-31 non-league win over Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 11-4.
