The Southern Alamance Patriots basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Asheboro Blue Comets to 51 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Union Pines for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Southern Alamance will confront a Vikings team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Asheboro falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Blue comets travel to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-5. Uwharrie Charter Academy won 46-40 in their recent non-league game against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC)
