In Tuesday's league bout, the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) basketball team crushed the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), by a tally of 69-32.

The Cougars now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Grove Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. Charlotte Catholic will play a Lions team coming off a 53-47 league win over Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC). The Lions record now stands at 8-2.
