The Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR), 53-23 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calico Rock for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 17. Cotter will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 69-38 league win over Viola (Viola, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 10-2.

The Bobcats (2-9) will now prepare for their bout against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 2A Region 2 bout with a 15-1 record. In their last bout, Sloan-Hendrix crushed Izard County (Brockwell, AR), 57-47, in a league bout.
