Kentucky High School Basketball - Taylor County can't hold off Shawnee
December 16, 2025: Louisville, KY 40212 Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY), 56-50 in a non-league contest.
The Golden Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Louisville, KY). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Valley was tipped by Moore (Louisville, KY), 86-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 20. Taylor County will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 73-61 non-league loss to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY).
