California High School Basketball - Borrego Springs overwhelmed by Desert Mirage

December 16, 2025: Thermal, CA 92274

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA) basketball team crushed the visiting Borrego Springs Rams (Borrego Springs, CA), by a tally of 46-19.

The RAMS now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Coachella Valley for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 18. Desert Mirage will play a Mighty Arabs team coming off a 45-36 non-league win over Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA). The Mighty Arabs record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Borrego Springs moves to 1-5 on the season. The Rams host Warner (Warner Springs, CA) to encounter the Wildcats in a Southern challenge on Tuesday, January 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.
