Minnesota High School Basketball - Hermantown holds off Duluth East
December 16, 2025: Hermantown, MN 55811 The Hermantown Hawks basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Duluth East Greyhounds to 58 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Denfeld for a AAA Section 7 game on Friday, December 19. Hermantown will confront a Hunters team coming off a 57-51 league loss to Superior (Superior, WI). The Hunters record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Duluth East falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Blaine (Blaine, MN) to clash with the Bengals in a AAAA Section 7 outing on Saturday, December 20. The Bengals enter the outing with a record of 5-3. Blaine won 71-66 in their recent non-league outing against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN)
