Virginia High School Basketball - Broadway succumbs to Staunton
December 16, 2025: Broadway, VA 22815 In Tuesday's non-league test, the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) basketball squad defeated the host Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), by a tally of 53-33.
The Storm now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 18. Staunton will play a Wildcats team coming off a 49-43 non-league win over Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Broadway falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Gobblers travel to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Monticello won 44-38 in their recent non-league test against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
