Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Eufaula Ironheads (Eufaula, OK), 55-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Preston upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Kiefer (Kiefer, OK) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Ironheads play the Morris Eagles (Morris, OK) in a Big Eight Star bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Eufaula will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
