The Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX), 68-65 in Friday's league test.

The Raiders (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Harlan (San Antonio, TX). The go into the 6A Region IV District 29 test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Harlan got by Stevens (San Antonio, TX), 72-66, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Connor for a 6A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, December 21. Marshall will meet a Panthers team coming off a 56-45 league win over Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-6.
