The Turpin Spartans basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Kings Knights to 52 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop McNicholas for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 18.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mason (Mason, OH). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
