Kentucky High School Basketball - Lawrence County topples Pike County Central
December 17, 2021: Louisa, KY 41230 In Friday's non-league outing, the Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY), by a margin of 63-45.
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY). The Cougars / Lady Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Letcher County Central overcame Harlan (Harlan, KY), 70-55, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Pike County Central moves to 3-5 on the year. The Hawks travel to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV) to meet the Miners in a non-league match on Monday, December 27. The Miners enter the match with a record of 4-1. Mingo Central lost 53-39 in their recent league match against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV)
