Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) and the host Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), saw Coosa's basketball squad hold off Armuchee by a tally of 62-61.

With the victory, Coosa improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Towns County won 77-66 in their recent league challenge against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA)

Next up, the Indians confront the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Armuchee will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
